About Silver Cascade Falls

Silver Cascade is a waterfall of about 180 feet that drops beside the road into Kodaikanal. It is the first sight most visitors see on the way up, and it looks its best in the early morning light before the crowds arrive.

The water comes from the overflow of Kodaikanal Lake, and the flow is strongest during and after the rains.
